Beginning Genealogy Classes
Classes in Beginning Genealogy have been scheduled for
Club members getting started in Genealogy or those just
needing to brush up on their skills.

Dates: Fridays November 10 and 17, December 1, 8 & 15.
Location: HOA 2, Agate Room.  (Arts and Crafts center)
Time: 1:00-3:00 PM
Cost: $25.00 per person.

Checks should be made out to SBGC (Saddlebrooke
Genealogy Club) and mailed to Gloria Quigg at 37992 S.
Stone Ridge Drive, Saddlebrooke, AZ 85739. Classes
must be paid for in advance. Class notebooks will be
provided.

                    RootsMagic Classes
Dave Tiefenbach will be teaching a RootsMagic
genealogy software class starting on January 4th from 11
AM to 12:30. The class will be every Thursday for 5
weeks. RootsMagic is a genealogy program that assists
family historians in tracking, organizing, printing, and
sharing family history.

Attendees must be a member of the SaddleBrooke
Computer Club. To see a complete description of the class

March 9 & 10, 2018 - Pima County Genealogy Society
will sponsor two events by CeCe Moore, genetic
genealogy consultant for the popular PBS television series
Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Her work
has also been featured on ABC’s 20/20, PBS’ Genealogy
Roadshow, Nightline, Good Morning America, The Dr.
Oz Show, Crime Watch Daily, Nancy Grace, CBS This
Morning and The Doctors. She is considered an innovator
in the use of autosomal DNA for genealogy, and is
frequently consulted by DNA testing companies,
genealogists, adoptees, and the press.
