August 2 - At this informal meeting, you will be
exploring U.S. Census Records and finding out what
information is available about our ancestors. This is not
a lecture. It's a working session where you will use
several decades of census records to answer questions
about one family. You will break up into small teams to
explore the Census. Chris Nelson, the facilitator, will
have paper copies of the census records for everyone,
but they are easier to read online, so if you can bring a
laptop computer or an I-Pad, that would make your
exploration of the census easier. Chris may have a prize
for the team who answers the most questions. In order to
have enough printed copies, please respond to Chris at
cnel85@gmail.com if you are planning to attend.
